The Stamford, Greenwich, Darien area is one of the most beautiful in the country,
a wonderful place to raise a family, retire to or visit. Nestled along the north
shore of the Long Island Sound, the area's many perks include excellent schools,
quiet communities, beautiful beaches, and easy access to New York City.

Stamford is a bustling medium sized city that has evolved into a national corporate center. It
is currently the 3rd largest corporate headquarters city in the country, and is home to a number
of Fortune 500 companies. Among those calling Stamford home are Xerox, GE Capital, and USB
Warburg. Stamford is also a beautiful waterfront city that has much to offer culturally and recreationally. The Stamford Center for the Arts is a performing arts center that hosts world class performers and shows from around the world. The city is also home to the Connecticut Ballet, the Stamford Symphony Orchestra, the Connecticut Grand Opera and many other regional performing art companies. Recreational opportunities include sailing, fishing and golfing. The Stamford public school system was recently named by "The Ladies Home Journal" as the 4th best in the country among the nation's top 200 cities. The school system has excellent graduation rates, student-teacher ratios and per student spending records. Approximately 86% of all high school graduates go on to attend four year colleges or other post-secondary schools. Around 89% of these college bound students are accepted into "Most Competitive", "Highly Competitive" or "Very Competitive" colleges and universities. The area is home to a number of superb private schools as well. |

by car or train. Express Metro North trains travel direct from Grand Central Station
to Stamford throughout the day. Interstate 95 and the Merrit Parkway run through Stamford, providing easy
access to New York City and the rest of New England by car. |

The town of Greenwich is repeatedly ranked as the #1 place to live in the state of Connecticut.
Renowned for it's beautiful beaches and stunning waterfront property, the town is home to many well known
corporate executives, artists, writers and entertainers among others.
The Greenwich public school system is rated #1 in Connecticut. Around 40% of graduates each year go on to attend Most Competitive colleges and universities, and approximately 90% of Greenwich teachers have masters degrees. Excellent private and parochial schools are also available. |

Greenwich is located approximately 30-45 minutes from downtown Manhattan and 10 minutes from Stamford. It is the first express stop on many Metro North trains that travel from Grand Central Station into Connecticut. It is also close to Interstate 95 and the Merrit Parkway. Darien is a small prosperous town located on approximately 15 miles of beautiful shoreline along the Long Island sound.
As a town of only about 20,000 people, it preserves the feel of a small New England village, but its proximity
to Stamford and New York City provide residents with the best of both worlds.
The Darien public school system is well know for its excellence. Approximately 94% of graduating high school students go on to pursue post-secondary education, and the high school drop out rate is at or near 0% most years. The town is home to one private elementary school, and a number of additional private and religious schools are available in nearby communities. Darien is approximately 50 minutes from New York City and 10 minutes from Stamford. Metro North trains travel daily from three area stations into Grand Central Station in Manhattan. Darien is also close to the Merrit Parkway and Interstate 95, making New York City and New England easy to get to by car. ![]()
